Rotary projects rely on the trusted relationship formed between organizations.
Firstly, the Rotary Club of Calgary works closely with the Rotary Club of Pursat to identify needs in the community where the project is to be conducted.
Secondly, we engage the expert services of organizations whose business is specifically involved with the people and resources identified in the project. For this reason our Rotary project works closely with TukTuk Charity to achieve the intended goals and ensure sustainability.
TukTuk Charity (TTC) is provides excellent early childhood education support for teachers and communities in and around Pursat. TTC has been engaged by the Pursat Department of Early Childhood Education to work in preschools to increase teachers' capacity as well as provide educational resources for young children. TTC developed the solar powered AccessBox which is an innovative way of distributing FREE resources to teachers and parents. The Rotary Club of Calgary has been an enthusiastic supporter of Tuk Tuk Charity over the last three years.
